Turn “Junk” into Art

4:30 pm—7:00 pm

The Davis Recycled Art Faire is a juried exhibit and sale of
art,
practical items and fashion accessories created from used, surplus, or
found materials.
No entry fee. Junior high, high
school, and college students and community members are invited to enter
a piece in the exhibit and silent auction. Elementary school groups may
make crafts to sell at the Faire.

- Aluminum hot lunch trays and tin foil
Paper
- Paper lunch bags
- Cardboard "crunch lunch" trays
- Cardboard from "lunchables"
- Unused paper napkins
Compost Bin
- Whole or partial fruits
- Whole or partial vegetables (without dressing or oil)
The remaining waste goes into the trash.
NON-RECYCLABLES INCLUDE:
- Juice boxes and juice pouches
- Plastic utensils
- Black plastic hot lunch trays
- ALL plastics #3, #4, #5, #7 (lunchables, yogurt containers,
applesauce containers)
- Plastic bags
