Online Recycled Art Faire Entry Form

The 4th Annual Recycled Art Faire is an opportunity to showcase works of art, practical items and fashion accessories created from used, surplus, or found materials. Junior high, high school, college students and community members are invited to enter pieces celebrating Earth Day in Central Park. Elementary school groups may make crafts to sell at the Faire.

The deadline to enter is April 11th, 2009.

Guidelines for Applying

Rules and Other Info
  • There is no entry fee.
  • Entries must be made from materials which have been previously used, destined to be discarded or recycled.
  • Using new materials purchased for the entry is not allowed and will disqualify the entry. The only new items allowed for construction of art pieces include construction materials such as paint, glue, tape, screws, and nails.
  • Tables will be provided to display artwork. Additional supports and supplies required for displaying artwork (especially hanging or free standing pieces) must be supplied by the applicant.
  • Submit completed entry form by Saturday, April 11, 2009 to Dorothy Peterson at Davis Farm to School Connection, P.O. 1813, Davis, CA 95617, or online.
  • Each entry must specify whether the item will be for sale or not for sale. If the item will be for sale, the entry form should specify the amount.
  • Upon arriving at Central Park Gardens, each entry will be numbered and tagged according to the entry form on file.
  • Each artist is to set up and display his or her own work.
  • If the weather should become unstable the morning of the event, you will be contacted with details to follow.

    Elementary Grades (Kindergarten through 6th) are invited to participate with craft sales. Twenty spaces available; each includes a 2-foot round table. Classroom recycle leaders and garden leaders are invited to participate with craft sales from the school sites. The same guidelines and entry requirements apply with the exception of craft sales. All funds generated will return to your participating group, classroom, or environmental program.
